Honghe University (HU), located in Yunnan Province, China, is the official Chinese partner institution of Lumbini Confucius Classroom.

Established in 1978, Honghe University has grown into a vibrant multicultural institution with around 15,000 students and nearly 1,000 academic and administrative staff members. Spanning a beautiful 200-acre campus, the university offers a dynamic learning environment with over 63 undergraduate majors across 13 faculties, including Humanities, International Relations, Science & Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, Education, Foreign Languages, Music, Arts, Physical Education, and more.

With a wide range of academic programs and active international collaborations, Honghe University plays an important role in promoting Chinese language education and cultural exchange.
